Like my crush Bow Wow, 18-year-old Zane – another teen rapmalion who dropped the “Lil” that formerly began his name – is a rapper/actor/singer who has finally come into his own, kinda. He seems to have matured into a decent MC on an LL/Tupac tip, with a heavy emphasis on the ‘Pac side of the equation. This would be fine if Tupac had never existed, in which case Zane would be a pioneer. However, this disc is just more music for dumb dance floors. Also, I declare a moratorium on skits unless done by Prince Paul, Ghostface Killah or Ludacris.
