VIBE A tiny bar just west of that newly fashionable part of Parkdale, it’s humble and low-key but not nearly as much of a dive as most of its neighbours. You can catch live music most nights as well as the occasional DJ night, including jazz, funk and rock. An old piano in the corner gets a fair amount of use by live acts.
DANCING OR LOUNGING There’s no law against dancing here, but considering the size and vibe, it’s unlikely most nights.
OUTDOOR ACCESS The back patio is easy to miss you have to access it through the basement, past the bathrooms.
BATHROOMS Small but clean, functional and comfortable. Not sure of the logic behind having both a urinal and a toilet in the single-occupant men’s room, but that’s not really a complaint.
