If you’re at all concerned about your sodium intake or cholesterol levels, you might want to skip I Went to Philly (462 Yonge, at College, 416-927-9090, iwenttophilly.com, @IWenttoPhilly, rating: NNN). The rest of us will be in hog heaven, especially if, like Rob Ford, we’ve had a few too many “pops.”

The star of the nearly year-old fast food joint’s carte is its signature Philly cheese steak, an intoxicating mix of Worcestershire-braised steak, grilled peppers, onions and ‘shrooms, provolone and Cheez Whiz on a super-absorbent hot dog bun (The Works, $8.65). Not to be outdone, the Liberty Bell burger ($9.75) comes topped with bacon, cheese, a wiener and a grilled cheese sandwich ($9.75). Take that, Burger’s Priest!

Why go for plain ol’ hand-cut fries ($3.50) when you can get them slathered in house-made marinara sauce, shredded mozzarella and sliced pepperoni instead? And as addictively delish as it is, just looking at Philly’s deep-fried Blooming Onion with spicy ranch dip (both $5.65) can cause cardiac arrest, especially when washed down with an imported bottle of Yoo-hoo ($2.50).
