VIBE The newest theme bar/restaurant to be appropriated by the hipsters for indie dance nights and live shows. As you might guess from the name, the place has been made to look like the inside of a ship. Events are pretty sporadic right now. If there’s nothing booked, the club reverts to karaoke.
VALUE Cover is usually small (if there is one), and drinks are pretty cheap – $4 for a domestic beer, $5 for a mixed drink.
BATHROOMS Considering that the place has been around for about 30 years, the bathrooms aren’t that bad. Unfortunately, the rest of the bar tends to reek like a bathroom, an issue everyone hopes will get worked out. As it is, the incense isn’t covering it up.
DANCING OR CHILLING Most of the venue is carpeted, but there’s a wooden dance floor in the middle of the room. Whether people use it or not depends completely on the type of event.
