Flour and other ingredients as well as tempers go flying in Morro And Jasp: Go Bake Yourself, as clown sisters Morro (Heather Marie Annis) and Jasp (Amy Lee) tackle an audience-participation cooking show.
The hyperactive Morro is ready for battle in her muffin-tin armour, but the more placid (and controlling) Jasp aims for Martha Stewart elegance, hoping to win the heart of a cute guy with her unusual soufflé recipe.
The result is barely controlled comic mayhem involving – among other things – a ukulele, a basic comfort food and a carrot shred-off. As always, the duo (who created the piece with director Byron Laviolette) bring winning charm and lots of humour to their work.
Just watch out for the cayenne.
