There’s a fair number of chuckles here if your idea of funny is an overblown incest tragedy laced with low comedy and lots of bodies.

When his drunk mother dies, incompetent mope Raymond (Patrick Huard) phones Angele (Julie LeBreton), the sister he hasn’t seen in 10 years, and they set about burying a body (not Mother’s) in the basement. Lust looms, but punks, mobsters, a cop, a TV producer and some escaped piglets get in the way.
The cast is solid, with Marie Brassard and Christopher Heyerdahl standing out as a pair of punks who’d be right at home in Mack Sennett slapstick.
