Nikolaj Viborg uses hand-?held cameras to witness two years of fruitless debate, mounting tension and anticipation of violence inside Ungdomshuset, a safe house for punks, queers and all manner of disenfranchised youths, who face eviction after the Copenhagen government sells their building to condo developers.
The film's investigation of the opposing side is narrow, delving little beyond police brutality and political ignorance. But it's bolstered by the charisma of the youths, who aren't all just loudmouth rebels. They're articulate and impassioned enough to host concert demonstrations, engage in press conferences, spin the media and, yes, make Molotov cocktails.
