Think all rappers are gun-toting playas? Channels Of Rage (May 14, midnight, Bloor) showcases top Israeli rapper Subliminal and his Arab counterpart, MC Tamer, two peace-loving guys who aren’t in it for the bling bling.

Hello, dysfunction

In Bonjour Monsieur Shlomi (Tuesday, May 10, 5 pm, Bloor), a 16-year-old boy is about to discover he really is special, even if his nutty mom, horny brother and the hottie next door don’t know it yet.

Riegert’s kingdom

Call it Death Of A Jewish Salesman. King Of The Corner (May 15, 1 pm, Bloor) is the often hilarious adaptation of Bad Jews And Other Stories, featuring actor/director Peter Riegert and an all-star cast including Isabella Rossellini , Eli Wallach and Rita Moreno .
