This fly-on-the-wall doc follows three troops of evangelical Christians from around the world as they converge on the 2006 World Cup in Germany for a round of fervent soul-saving. (There’s plenty of faith flying around it just isn’t directed at Jesus.)
Believers will admire the perseverance of the missionaries in the face of repeated rejection, while atheists will find their clumsy attempts at striking up conversations with distracted footie fans positively hilarious.
Personally, I was impressed to see the heathen crowds decline the advances of the God botherers so respectfully, politely and firmly. There’s soccer to be watched, after all.
