M. Night Shyamalan (The Sixth Sense) has been criticized for following the same suspense-with-a-twist formula. Lady In The Water could change that. It's inspired by a story he used to tell his kids about a a water-loving creature who's escaped from a kids' book and ends up in an apartment pool. Paul Giamatti plays the building super who finds the wet woman (Bryce Dallas Howard) and has to deal with the creatures on her tail. The trailers look pretty scary.
