STRANGE WILDERNESS Directed by Fred Wolf. 86 minutes. Opens Friday (February 1). Rating: N
STRANGE WILDERNESS counts among its tired gags a shark attack, a man being eaten by piranhas and a wild turkey clamping its beak onto Steve Zahn's penis. If you were to experience all of these painful scenarios simultaneously, it still wouldn't equal the torture of sitting through this lame stoner comedy. Zahn, as the host of a failing Crocodile Hunter-style wildlife show, and his dope-addled crew try to save the show by obtaining a map to Bigfoot's cave. When they set off to capture the legendary man-beast on film, hijinks ensue that should please anyone who finds weed-smoking and the name "Dick" inherently funny. For those who don't, Strange Wilderness is an awful place to get lost.
