Speed Dating With The Indies (Holiday Inn on King, June 14, 2 pm) is kind of like real-life romantic speed dating, except your chances of getting laid are significantly lower (unless that’s part of your plan to get signed), while the chance of getting screwed over remains about the same.
On hand are some heavyweights of the independent music industry, including legendary punk rock label Epitaph (which is presenting this session), as well as Mint, Paper Bag and the Union Label. Even if your band doesn’t catch their interest, you’ll still come away with some free stuff.
