Their fourth album sees Air pulling back from some of their pop influences and getting a little more mellow. Perhaps not the best strategy when you're mainly known for making chilled-out soundtrack-type shit. Staying awake for a listen all the way through this is a challenge for even the most caffeinated. There are some pretty moments, and the production is immaculate, but it's plodding and dull for the most part. Hardcore fans will have to admit it's definitely not the duo's best work. Insomniacs may get a lot of use out of it.
