Emerging from Rosemead, California, Audio Karate are riding on influences like NOFX, Screeching Weasel, the Descendants and Lagwagon. Thing is, we’ve already got NOFX, Screeching Weasel, the Descendants, Lagwagon, Green Day, Bad Religion, Blink 182, All, Pennywise, Weezer and Rancid — not to mention the inevitable resulting sick wealth of West Coast, So-Cal, low-cal pop/punk boy-band offshoots, each increasingly indistinguishable from the last. Do we need another one? Do we? Huh? The pierced, all-ages, baggy-pantsed set will probably prematurely ejaculate all over themselves over this, but anyone old enough to get into a bar will likely want to skip it.
