Bleep are a Toronto-based ambient pop band, drawing from both Aphex Twin and the Cocteau Twins. This EP continues in the direction of their debut, IMM 0008, but sounds more polished and focused. It’s that kind of quirky but pretty electronic pop that people who adore Björk will love, but it might have been nice to save the hand-printed CD envelopes and ribbons for a full album and keep the videos on the Web site.
Bleep play this Friday (November 26) at the Drake Hotel.
