Cats And Dogs

Rating: N

Listen to This Life and it’s like the 90s never happened. At least Cats And Dogs, the brainchild of Bob Segarini, make no bones about the fact that they’re catering to the huge over-40 demographic they feel are desperate for tunes no one else is playing for them. The fact that there’s probably a very good reason for this has apparently escaped Segarini. The band is competent, and Suze Burmester can sing, but the effect is like the Fabulous Thunderbirds fronted by Sass Jordan. It’s a perfect Friday night at the Chick ‘n’ Deli. Cats and Dogs get busy at Club 279 tonight (Thursday, July 15).
