Dreams, deception, madness. At the helm of this spaced-out, blip-crazed, nonsensical psychobabble project are Kevin Litrow and Matt Howze: Dance Disaster Movement. Sharing a strange telepathic connection, DDM dip their ladle into the collective unconsciousness. Seriously warped ideas are lured away from the dream world (nihilistic realism?) for consumption as snow on the TV, which tastes like chicken. Things come back garbled in ESREVER #1, a song extolling the virtues of abolishing your ego while a nail gun fires repeatedly and a drill revs in the background. It's all loopy vocals, trash-can drums and random bytes and bits lovingly assembled into comforting delusions of grandeur.
Dance Disaster Movement hit Sneaky Dee's Monday (July 25).
