DAZ

Of Snoop’s old affiliates Tha Dogg Pound, Daz Dillinger had less of a fuck-everyone attitude than Kurupt. That’s why he can break bread with someone like Jermaine Dupri, who’s had most of his success lately in the R&B landscape, emancipating Mimi and confessing with Usher. Their unusual partnership adds up to a compromise that works, Daz presenting himself very much like the smooth yet menacing brandy-snifter-swirling gangsta of the cover. Snoop, Kurupt, Rick Ross and Ice Cube come to back him up.
