Even though Dead Prez talk a good game about “pimpin’ the system,” it’s apparent from the title of their RBG album that dealing with Sony might not be the best way to get their full “Revolutionary But Gangsta” message out to the masses. Of course, if rapping about walking like a warrior while complaining about “the white man’s law” and dropping Leonard Peltier’s name is as controversial as they intend to get, they’re probably well placed to launch an agitprop cash-in.
