Currently being lauded as the ABBA of bloop-pop, Liverpool’s Ladytron are merely a less imaginative version of Chicks on Speed without the sleazy Disko-B beats or cultured sense of humour. Trying to cash in on the kitschy cuteness of robotic bellowing is just as played out as the technology they’ve used to accompany it.
