Some albums just have "niche marketing" written all over them, and Ghostland's Interview With The Angel looks to be targeting that elusive horde of Enya fans who fancy themselves progressive enough to appreciate a Sarah McLachlan trance remix if it's not too obtrusive. Ethereal is the concept here. Ghostworld's John Reynolds, Caroline Dale and Justin Adams have concocted a moody quasi-classical whoosh over which the gossamer voices of Jane Siberry, Sinead O'Connor and others float. An elaborately orchestrated confection with precious little real substance. Should go nice with a Bordeaux.
