The Warhols are extra famous since they were showcased alongside junkie tool Anton Newcombe in Dig! last year, but barely five minutes into Odditorium Or Warlords On Mars I feel as bored as an overtired little kid on a long car ride. The record kicks in with a mildly amusing parody of a documentary voice-over about the Warhols by A&E dude Bill Kurtis. Then it moves into the nine-minute-long Love Is The New Feel Awful. (Are we there yet?) The slow love-sexy groovy R&B song Easy is OK at first, but not so OK after seven minutes. This is just frustrating. Snippets of decency get crushed by messiness. Sandwiched between the bad wanking -- the last track clocks in at almost 12 minutes -- are some pretty, well-constructed tunes like the cute country number All The Money.
