Where to begin? First off, Edie Sedgwick is obviously not the very deceased Warhol groupie, but is, according to her/his website, “a transgendered reincarnation of a vacuous Warhol superstar.” In real time, Edie is actually Justin Moyer, of art rockers El Guapo. Furthermore, Edie Sedgwick is fucking awesome, mostly cuz in front of abrasive, minimal electro/industrial beats that sound like Peaches interpreted by Ministry, she belts out her personal observations about celebrities and their famous characters, from Sigourney Weaver (“Where creatures destroy Marines, a girl and a girl can celebrate machines”) to Lucy Liu (“Girl power! Fight fight! Just kidding! Not kidding! Bullshit!”). Whether a celebrity lampoon or a bunch of semi-insane ramblings, it’s unbelievably good.
