ELECTROCLASH VOL. 2 (Mogul Electro) Rating: NN
Do people still care about electroclash? Larry Tee has released a sequel to the compilation that inspired thousands of art brats to rap badly over Casio beats, and has some new talents to push this time around. Not that the new talents sound much different than the last batch - still the same punky synth disco riffs and monotone chanting about sex and fashion. Most of it's disposable and annoying, but that's kind of the point so it's hard to fault it for that. Overall, there's too much comedy and not enough musical ideas, but that was the problem the first time around, too.
