Local drum ‘n’ bass duo DJ Freaky Flow and MC Flipside recorded this live at the Living Room just this past January, and although they confess to one edit, the album successfully captures the feel of an actual party. Unfortunately, along with Freaky Flow’s top-notch mixing and scratching, this includes some pretty horrible freestyle from Flipside. The first routine they do is fun in an old-school hiphop kind of way, but after that the MCing deteriorates to the point of redundancy. Still, it’s a dynamic and entertaining drum ‘n’ bass party mix.
