Guster

Rating: NNN

If you have a trust fund and drive a VW, chances are you dig Guster. Mining the 90s pop rock sound of Weezer and Blur, they speak to the overeducated masses in words they understand, revelling in the singalong support offered by English and psych majors alike. This live CD/DVD covers all the bases, trotting out all the faves from Airport Song to last year’s Careful. The DVD is packed with extras, including a mini-documentary, concert footage and videos. They don’t break any new ground here, but the set shows that Guster can really play, which is fortunate since, for Harvard boys, they really don’t have much to say.
