On Hank's third album, main man Cab Williamson continues his crazy quilt of sloppy homemade avant-garde pop, veering from punk noise to spazzy off-key funk, tinny electronic beats, girl-group bubble-gum and general weirdness, often in the same two-minute song.
There's a certain charm to the idiosyncratic universe these songs inhabit, but it's definitely an acquired taste. The garage rock aspects work for the most part, but the electronic elements often sound cheap, and not in the good way.
