Although their name and concept may seem overused, this is notably strong Swedish death thrash. The band pounds out non-stop, speedy, growly-voxed (except for a brief excursion into high-pitched squeals) mayhem over 10 tracks. Hellucinate doesn't overstay its welcome or try to rewrite the rules for hard music that Wiccan priests laid out so many moons ago; it just rocks quickly and with skill. Aside from closing track Suicide Park, which is more epic and pulverizing than it is fast, they maintain a blazing tempo throughout. One of the best Metal Blade releases in a while.
