The mainstreaming make-over that Jurassic 5 have undergone for Power In Numbers has made their rhymes much more conventional and the production clean and simple. Gone are the gritty Cut Chemist grooves lifted from his renowned stash of dusty sevens, as are the frantic microphone-passing exchanges. In their place are lame Beatnuts backing joints and pointless Nelly Furtado vocal cameos you’d expect from aspiring crossover chumps angling for lowest-common-denominator chart appeal.
