When you start your career with a massive fluke hit, as Justice did with their reworking of Simian's We Are Your Friends, the follow-up can be a bitch. Good news: the French indie dance kingpins' first LP is decidedly awesome, and its infectious lead single, D.A.N.C.E. (a Michael Jackson tribute featuring a children's choir), looks like it may be the anthem of the summer.
The Daft Punk comparisons are valid, but misleading - this isn't a throwback to 1997, though Homework might've sounded similar had it been recorded a decade later. The whole album is solid, save for Uffie's questionable club princess rap, and even that sounds better with repeated listens.
