Kelly Osbourne Shut Up (Sony) Rating: NN Rating: NN

It’s here, the inevitable album from Kelly Osbourne, titled Shut Up, which seems to be the little rock rich girl’s attitude toward the whole planet. Nobody’s the boss of her. This is actually a lot better than I imagined, but my expectations were about as low as you can get. Very 80s new wave pop with a bit of rock punk around the edges. Some of the tunes co-written by Kelly are kind of catchy, even if they are all about boys, etc. Little Miss Osbourne has one of the worst singing voices I’ve ever heard, but then, that hasn’t stopped any rock stars before. Osbourne’s collaborator Sean Tillman leads Har Mar Superstar into Lee’s Palace tonight (Thursday, December 12).
