Khan is one of prolific producer Can Oral's many pseudonyms, and with it he takes on the role of a sleazy lounge singer in some futuristic techno blues-funk band. That might not sound so great on paper, but it's a delightfully original album. It's dirty, loose and weird-sounding where it could have been smooth, shiny and cheesy.
This is the kind of techno-funk someone who's collaborated with Diamanda Galas, Kid Congo Powers and Andre Williams might make on his own time. Oh wait, that's what it is.
