Lamb of God have ridden their caustic blend of death metal and groove through their last two mega-successful albums to establish themselves as one of the biggest bands in American metal. Following on the heels of last year's Ashes Of The Wake, Killadelphia is a live album the band claims to have put together as both a "thank you" to fans and an opportunity to capture the intensity of their live shows on disc. If this is any indication, it's safe to say they can put on a vicious performance. The sound quality is as clear as it can be while keeping an organic feel, but the glue holding it together Randy Blythe's vocals, which could cut through steel. Aside from the generic audience-prompting, this is a pretty impressive record.
