As far nu metallurgist/rap rockers go, Linkin Park have always been one of the least annoying, with decent melodic structure, intricate layering, thoughtful harmonies, sweet beats and samples and arty arrangements. They know a catchy hook and rarely get muddy. On this live disc, they don’t demonstrate the ability to change the energetic experience and add that feeling of being there or throw in that extra kick. This record isn’t all that different from their studio records, which are actually sleeker and better produced. The true fan, however, will find something useful here in the collection of tracks from Hybrid Theory and Meteora. Comes with a bonus DVD.
