You don’t want to love generic hip-pop, but often you must. The solo debut of 50 Cent’s right-hand man in G-Unit offers enough great beats, strong guest appearances from the usual suspects (like Eminem, G-Unit and their newest member, Game, and Nate Dogg) and clever lyrics. All you really need to do to get into this is to accept LB’s singsong choruses, which I find to be the best thing about the record. Best album title of the year so far.
