Mander Salis

Rating: NN

With the profits harvested from Alexisonfire and Coheed and Cambria, Albany’s Equal Vision has gone ink-crazy and apparently signed every medio-core band they can get their paws on. TSTCTC have the angst of their screamo-punk labelmates, but rather than taking cues from the Refused, they bite hard on Jeff Buckley. The songs swing from rootsy, mid-tempo rock to textbook emo, resulting in a record that has less cohesion than an unlicked stamp. Then they show us how sophomoric their studio approach is by over-playing and over-producing every note. Guys, one thing at a time, please!
