To coincide with the opening of the behind-the-scenes Metallica documentary Some Kind Of Monster, the title song – drawn from their recent St. Anger album – has been issued as a single. And, perhaps to make nice with long-time Metallica fans still fuming over the group’s anti-downloading stance, the additional material – including six scorching live tracks of classic early tunes from Kill ‘Em All, Ride The Lightning and Master Of Puppets recorded last year in Paris, two movie trailers and a limited-run promo T-shirt – actually seems like a bonus for a change.
