Although Detroit rapper Obie Trice – who believes London and Europe are countries – may not have the erudition of the more worldly wise 50 Cent, he’s smart enough to know that an association with Shady boss Marshall Mathers will turn any wack album into a platinum seller. Trice’s thugged-out threats are so moronic and his rhyme flow’s so monotonous that even the combined production smarts of Dr. Dre and Timbaland can’t save Cheers.
