America’s response to See Spot Run, Orgy broke through with their cover of Blue Monday, and their third album sounds like all other NIN-influenced nu-metal, which is kind of sad because at this point Orgy are old hands at this by default. The production makes it sound as if they recorded the whole lousy thing under a waterfall, and in general it’s an album that doesn’t expand on their sound to ears untrained in Orgy and makes me wish they’d turned into a pumpkin after Y2K.
