OUR LADY PEACE

Rating: N

It’s absolutely perplexing how Our Lady Peace remain one of Canada’s bigger bands. On their sixth proper album, they seem to have no qualms retreading the same tired old formula they’ve employed for god knows how long, making no effort to write anything other than bland throwbacks to their mid-90s alt-rock. Raine Maida’s voice is as annoying as ever, and most of the tunes just kinda bleed into each other. More proof that OLP are an exceptionally mediocre band.
