PUDDLE OF MUDD

PUDDLE OF MUDD Life On Display (Geffen) Rating: N

Rating: N

When a 10-year-old describes Life On Display as shallow, you know it must be pretty bad. This offering reeks so strongly of corporate rock, the stench has Kurt Cobain rolling in his grave. Puddle of Mudd have more retreads than Michelin, and would spontaneously combust if an original idea entered any of their half-baked brains. Fortunately for them, none of their lives is in imminent danger, as tunes like Away From Me and the attempt at sincerity that is Change My Mind demonstrate.
