I know hiphop isn’t the most modest of genres, but I think the T-Dot’s Rochester may be counting his chickens a bit prematurely on this, his debut album. When he speaks about the number of times platinum he’s going to go, or how he’s looking forward to the hos and the ice, but plans to spend his money right, or when he kicks a Lose Yourself-style inspirational rap about how anyone can make it, I just feel like he should wait… to make it… first. Rochester aka Juice sounds like Choclair and kicks passable rhymes over decent beats by Tone Mason. Decent, but I’m not blown away.
