The favourite singer of Jack Black and the Dears returns, after a five-year hiatus, with an album that hits like a tropical disease. As soon as you hear the first notes of lead track Get It Together, sleepiness sets in, and by the time the Moby-biting Tinsel Town comes up, you’re in a deep slumber. After listening to this disc, I had to be quarantined in hospital for 35 days, where I heard a rumour that Seal watches Batman Forever in the nude three times a day or more to relive his most active period – both creatively and in terms of meeting girls. Who knew?
