Smut Peddlers

Rating: N

You’d expect an album called Porn Again by the collaborative project Smut Peddlers, involving New York-based hiphop crew the High & Mighty and Eminem’s nemesis, Cage, to be a little racier than this. Other than a bit of human beatboxing to some looped porn-star moans and some equally phony mack-daddy bragging from Howard Stern’s living punchline, Beetlejuice, Mr. Eon and Cage can’t get beyond their usual metaphorically challenged rhyme drudgery that’s presumably meant to be humorous. It ain’t. Smut Peddlers play the Opera House Friday (March 30).TP
