Bo$$ (Priority/EMI) Rating: NN Rating: NN

Hiphop producers must wring their hands with delight when the cell lights up with a call to loop a P-Funk joint for a Snoop Dogg track. It’s got to be the easiest payday going, and Hi-Tek, the Neptunes and DJ Premier have no shame in taking Snoop’s money for the negligible effort they put into providing the ghetto bounce for the mack daddy Dogg’s predictable pimp walk on Paid Tha Cost To Be Da Bo$$. Primo beats all other hustlers with The One And Only by cleverly recycling Snoop Dogg’s old tracks — effectively selling him back his own music. You’ve got to love that.
