Sugar Ray In The Pursuit Of Leisure (Warner) Rating: N Rating: N

Sugar Ray’s new album shows what happens when you start listening to the boys in marketing. The band’s breakthrough came in the summer of 97 with the infectious hit Fly. Six years and a couple of hits later, Mark McGrath and company pull off the difficult task of making every line of the entire album sound like a clich&eacute. Musi-cally, they seem to have forgotten that when you try to please everyone, you please no one.
