Blessed with otherworldly freestyling skills, Supernatural has put on some of the most mind-blowing displays of spontaneous rhyme flow in hiphop history. Yet he’s never been able to recreate what he does onstage in the studio. The Lost Freestyle Files addresses that problem by compiling some of his more memorable radio station appearances (Sway & Tech, Bobbito & Stretch, Wake Up Show) and his legendary live battles. It’s not all that you’d hope for from Supernatural, but hearing him take on Craig G at the New Music Seminar throwdown — where the mike titans rip at each other like rabid sewer rats — is both hilarious and historic.
