With the Dwarves’ lineup bolstered by the addition of their first-ever female member, bassist Tazzie Bushweed, there was some hope for a real comeback. This ain’t it. Blag Dahlia’s dabbling in rap-metal foolishness has regrettably spread, turning The Dwarves Must Die into a comical bit of self-parody that proves more pathetic than funny. At times, it actually sounds kinda like a Weird Al Yankovic send-up of the Dwarves – only not quite as witty.
