This is a pretty perfect 60s Britrock knock-off, and that’s obviously what Chicago’s Redwalls are going for with the mod suits and the obvious Beatles and Stones roots. It’s a very old-skool rocking album with plenty of groove and blues, and I have to say the songs are really well crafted and sophisticated considering these guys are, like, 20 years old. I’m not sure how interesting it is to do something that’s already been done so many times before in exactly the same manner, but it’s fun and pretty catchy. So, whatever.
