The Unintended

The Unintended (Blue Fog) Rating: NN

Rating: NN

The Sadies have never really gotten a handle on the singing thing, so it makes sense that the hayseed hotshots have set up their own rhythm-to-go operation for vocalists in need of a backing band. It worked well with Jon Langford, so they’re back at it again with Elevator’s Rick White for The Unintended project, recorded at Greg Keelor’s farm. The Sadies boys have swapped the aggressive twang for pastoral psych-scapes better suited to White’s stoner moan. They may have been shooting for a mellow frolic, but they wound up with aural Sominex instead. Yawn.
